Late last year on Friday 31st October, we launched a capsule collection in collaboration with Ash Holmes where art met wearable beauty. The collection explored emotion, texture and balance, inspired by Ash’s expressive and intuitive approach to art. Her work captured a harmony of strength and softness, qualities that embodied the essence of Luv Lou. Together, we translated her artistic sensibility into sculptural wearable design, blending fluid lines with considered detail. Each piece reflected creativity and individuality, celebrating the beauty of thoughtful craftsmanship and effortless form. It was a true meeting of art and adornment that captured artistry in its most natural expression.
To complement the launch, we hosted an influencer event at Stylerunner Double Bay, our exclusive retail partner for the collection. Bringing the collaboration to life in such a creative community-led space felt like the perfect extension of the collection. It was a moment where art, fashion and connection came together to mark the beginning of something truly special. Then on Saturday 1st November, we welcomed customers in store to further build community and connection with our like-minded audience. Across two days, it was a celebration of beautiful people and great energy while enjoying the collection in store.
How do the two brands align?

How did you find inspiration for the collection?
Inspiration for the Luv Lou x Ash Holmes collection came directly from Ash’s intuitive artistic process. We explored sculptural silhouettes softened by fluid lines, creating frames that feel expressive yet wearable. Classic shapes were refined with a modern lens. Slim profiles, softly curved cat-eye and oval forms, designed to feel timeless but distinctive. A muted, considered colour palette and premium plant based materials were chosen to enhance the organic nature of the designs. Each style captures the harmony of structure and movement, making this collection distinctly art driven while remaining unmistakably Luv Lou.
How is it art?
The collaboration extended beyond eyewear to include thoughtfully designed lifestyle pieces that bring Ash Holmes’ artistry into the everyday. Her exclusive canvas painting that we utilised as a digital print was applied with intention, transforming functional objects into wearable and liveable expressions of art.
The vegan leather pouch features a softly sponged texture and drawstring closure, designed as a refined catch-all or clutch. Finished with Ash’s signature print in soft earthy tones and expressive brushstrokes, it balances ease with elevation.
The book box reimagines storage as a sculptural object. Disguised as a chic coffee table book, it opens to reveal four compartments designed to store sunglasses with intention. Featuring Ash’s exclusive print, it reflects the harmony of softness and strength that defines the collaboration.
